What a great beginning kids project. I'm sure your grandkids will enjoy doing many more with the help of a loving grandma. Thanks for sharing this fun project& God's blessings to you.:~D
Thankyou. It was very easy for them to start with. Now they are eager to get on with other easy projects from smithandsmith.
They did such a sweet job - good for them!!! And, good for their sweet Grandma who helped them with it!*
Thankyou. They are so enthusiastic now. Bookmarks are next and then those lovely little deodoriser sachets. Will try to post again some time.
Samantha, Alexander, and Mary - great work - keep it up - the In-The-Hoop (ITH) projects are so much fun.
Yes. We are really hooked on them! The kids just can't wait until we start another one. Although they have gone back to school today but I just know what they will ask as soon as they come through the door!!

just to let you know maryp1,, i added some book marks too that the kids would like to do also. They would be easy for them and make great little gifts for there reading buddies.
Yes! they have already seen them! They are back to school today but I know what they will want to do as soon as they get home! I'm also going to let them try one of your little candy bags.
:)... i'm teaching my daughter too and these little projects are perfect. She loves to design things too, so who knows whats next...lol

It is good to see that the next generation is carrying on our passions even if in different ways to what we learned when we were young. Technology is making it so much easier for them and they learn so quickly!
hi mary,, my daughter took hers to school to show her friends and it looks like we are making some more. She plays alot of sport so these help with her gym bag...lol
I think it's great that Grandmother has the patience to get them started young. These are great *
Actually I don't have a lot of patience!! But I guess I know how much they love the sewing room .. but then so do I!! The machines these days are so easy to use that they are quite capable to do some things! When the other grandies come they will want to join in I'm sure .. there are seven altogether!!
What a great start for your grandchildren. They will be well stocked by the time they are adults with their own sewing tools thanks to their loving grandmother.
Thankyou. Yes they just love to be in the sewing room. Easy things like this is a great way for them to enjoy what we all love to do!
Very good of the grands, you can never learn to early :0)
