when I am doing a FSL design with lots of stitches, sometime I need more than one layer, in this particular one I wanted to use three, so for the middle layer I used little pieces of the WSS and the result was great.

Great idea to recycle.

great tip!!

Good for u Maria. This savews money *

good idea maria, I hear they make a wss thread that you can sew pcs of wss together don't know where to buy it tho.

You can iron it to gether with a dry iron NO steam at all steam will melt it. I lay my scraps flat and just layer them between two layers works great.

Hehehe! Great use of your scraps.

I sew my larger pieces together with soluable? thread. Waste not want not. Great idea for the smaller pieces though Thanks :)

It's soooooo easy all, using a ear cotton I lay straight ends overlaped about 1/2 inch then wet the edges of one side and press down to the other side. The pieces merge together and dry very strong! You can do this until you get the size you need for use. I do like the idea of ironing them and will have to try it!!

Great idea, recycling is always good. I also recycle stablizer by sewing little pieces together. **4U
